This class covers a little bit of everything for the Explorers, as it includes speed, pitching, and power hitting. This is also a class that comes from all around the country, as Lester is from California, Heyer is from Washington, Scott is from Pennsylvania, and Gaynor and Sims are from New Jersey.
Gaynor is a talented catcher and more can be read on her here.
Sims is a talented outfielder from New Jersey who plays for the NJ Gators, along with Allie Bradian who has signed with Fordham. Sims is a speedy lefthanded hitter who can either hit away or slap. In addition, Sims is versatile on the defensive side of the ball as well, as she can play in the outfield or catch. Sims has outstanding speed and she is going to make life difficult for opposing defenses.
Lester comes to La Salle all the way from California and the San Jose Sting. Lester is another talented lefty outfielder who is a great pickup for the Explorers. Lester hit .471 with 24 hits last year for Gilroy Catholic. Coach Brianne Brown is going to count on her bat at the top of the Explorers' order next year. Lester will become the latest San Jose Sting player in the A10, joining Tiffany Meeks of UMass.

Heyer is an outfielder from Washington and the Lake Breeze Gold travel team. Heyer is another lefty and she has some power in her bat. Heyer also posses the ability to slap, though she primarily hits away from the left side of the plate. Heyer has a strong arm in the outfield and she is going to be solid player out there for the Explorers.
