Jillian Galich verbals to George Washington

George Washington picked up another verbal in its 2013 recruiting class, as Jillian Galich 1B/RF/C of the Louisville Lady Sluggers has committed to playing for the Colonials.

Galich is a great pickup for the Colonials, as she has all the makings of a big time college hitter. Galich can play a number of positions despite the fact that she is lefthanded and that versatility will be key for her moving forward. The Atlantic 10 hasn't had many lefty catchers over the year, so it is nice to see the Colonials pick up a verbal from one. Galich has a pretty looking swing from the left side and it will be hard to keep her bat out of George Washington's lineup.

Galich joins a George Washington 2013 recruiting class that already includes Megan Linn, Monica Macchiarulo, and Paige Kovalsky. The Colonials are getting the job done right now on the recruiting trail.
