For a second time this season, UMass has received 2 votes in both the NFCA/USA Today Top 25 Poll and ESPN.com/USA Softball Poll.
In the Mid-Major Poll, UMass came in at 7th, while Fordham came in at 12th, and rounded out the Atlantic 10 teams, by coming in 16th.
UMass and Fordham are going to have extremely difficult schedules this weekend at the NFCA Leadoff Classic and Cathedral City Classic respectively. UMass will face #10 Tennessee, #12 Michigan, and #17/20 Georgia Tech. Fordham also has a brutal schedule highlighted by a matchup against #1/3 California, as well as a game against #15/16 Arizona.
