Lauren Groomes a catcher out of North Davidson joins Charlotte's freshman class of Courtney Carroll and Jessica Plemmons. North Davidson is a powerhouse in North Carolina softball and two of Groomes teammates will be joining her in a year: Mackenzie Hauser and Paige Wall.
Dayton
Former Dayton player Laura Matthews has been named the head softball coach at Wittenberg.
Fordham
Chelsea Plimpton has been hired as an assistant coach at her alma mater of Fordham, after serving as the pitching coach at Marist and St. Lawrence this past year.
Former Fordham pitcher Nicole Ayres was honored with a weekend softball fundraiser in July.

Whitney Mollica Goldstein has been named the new head coach at Amherst College. Since coming on board, this team has become a D3 powerhouse and they are sure to get even better. Goldstein is a special coach and she will be a great coach in Division 1 someday.
St. Bonaventure
Jen Sansano will be transferring to Niagara from St. Bonaventure.
Temple
Jess Zeilman formerly of Hofstra will be playing for Temple this season.
