News and notes

Jen Mineau is currently trying out for the US National team out in Chula Vista, CA. Best of luck to her as she is the lone representative from the Atlantic 10 and the Northeast

Former Dayton player Amanda Daly will be transferring to Western Illinois. The Leathernecks have a great softball tradition and Daly should be a welcome addition to the squad.

UMass recruit Bridget Lemire lost in her sectional final 3-2 in a 13 inning battle, which saw Shannon Smith a very talented 2013 pitcher outduel her.
